Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet are encouraging motorists to give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations on Tuesday as a state contractor plans to restrict traffic to one lane for milling and resurfacing along Greenville
Road in northeastern Christian County.
Motorists who regularly travel this section of roadway will likely encounter one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers during daylight hours.
Motorists are also urged to use appropriate caution whenever they encounter a work zone where equipment and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
The work is expected to last about two weeks to complete if weather permits with Rogers Group the primary contractor for the project. Transportation officials say about 600 vehicles travel on Greenville Road each day.
