A high school student was killed in a two-vehicle wreck in Cheatham County, Tennessee yesterday.
The report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol says the incident happened around 4pm at the intersection of Highway 49 and Old Clarksville Pike. Police say 21-year old Jeffrey Goad of Ashland City, Tennessee was northbound on Old Clarksville Pike and pulled into the intersection and into traffic.
His vehicle was struck in the side by a vehicle driven by 28-year old Joshua Duke of Springfield. A passenger in Duke’s vehicle, 17-year old John David Ruben Green of Ashland City, was killed in the incident. Green was a student at Sycamore High School in Pleasant View.
Both Drivers and four passengers were injured, with at least one taken by helicopter to a Nashville hospital.
