Commonwealth’s Attorney Lynn Pryor was the keynote speaker for today’s Hopkinsville Kiwanis Club meeting and gave attendees a recap of her first term in office.
Pryor told local Kiwanians she looks forward to serving another six-year term, even though she says her first term in office was tough due to personal strife and obstacles she faced at work.
Pryor says despite the challenges she faced during the past several years, she says she vows to keep violent criminals behind bars and will continue to fight tooth and nail to keep the streets safe from criminal activity.
Following her speech, Pryor answered questions from the audience about her personal thoughts on current legislation and her personal life.
This month’s Kiwanis Club meeting was held at the Pennyrile Rural Electric Office located on East 21st Street, due to the WHOP Rotary Radio Auction being held inside the War Memorial building.
