Officials from the Trigg County Crime Stoppers organization were in Hopkinsville this morning to learn how best to get started on the right foot.
Trigg Sheriff’s Sgt. Jimmy Godair and secretary Fay Godair met with Hopkinsville-Christian County Crime Stoppers Coordinator Paul Ray at the Public Safety Building. Sgt. Godair said Trigg Crime Stoppers has gained its non-profit corporation status and has begun receiving much-needed donations to get its feet on the ground.
The Christian County Crime Stoppers organization has been one of the most successful in the state in getting wanted fugitives off the street for several years and Sgt. Godair says Officer Ray’s help has been invaluable in getting started.
