A man wanted by the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly dealing drugs has turned himself in.
Trigg County Sheriff Ray Burnam says 18-year old Alijajuan Williams turned himself in to authorities in Christian County last night. Sheriff Burnam received a tip of drug activity on Wallace Avenue Friday and a search warrant resulted in the arrest of Williams’ mother—42-year old LaRossa Williams.
Her son refused a telephone request to return home and police were able to get a warrant for his arrest. Alijajuan Williams was charged with trafficking in marijuana and was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
The Trigg County Sheriff’s Office continues to seek 29-year old Roddrick Shemwell of 8616 Cerulean Road, Ceruean—who allegedly tried to run down Sheriff’s Sgt. Jimmy Godair and Deputy Rick Burgess with his vehicle following an incident at the Barkley Manor Apartments. There is a warrant for his arrest on fleeing from police and wanton endangerment charges.
Police say Shemwell should be considered armed and dangerous and anyone knowing his whereabouts should call the sheriff’s office at 270-522-6014. His vehicle was found abandonded on Hillview Drive in Trigg County.
