Two young women are in a Nashville hospital after a single vehicle wreck Sunday morning in Clarksville.
Clarksville Police say a 19-year old female was southbound on North Second Street around 4am when she passed Riverside Drive, crossed the median and struck a pole in front of Kentucky Fried Chicken.
The driver and a 20-year old female passenger had to be cut from the wreckage and were then flown by Lifeflight helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where they are in stable condition.
The driver was wearing a seat belt and the passenger was not. Clarksville Police say it’s too early to know if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
