A man riding a lawn mower on a city street late at night was arrested last night, after police determined he was also allegedly driving with a suspended license.
The arrest card says 48-year old John Fickle of Hopkinsville was driving a 1999 green Craftsman riding mower near the 500 block of West 2nd St around 10:40 when Hopkinsville Police Officer Rogers Stephens stopped him.
Fickle reportedly told Officer Stephens that his license was suspended so he decided he would drive his mower around town. A computer check revealed his license was suspended from a DUI arrest.
Fickle was arrested and charged with driving on a DUI suspended license and booked into the Christian County Jail.
