A wreck in Hopkins County Sunday night injured a Fort Campbell woman, who was allegedly driving impaired.
A news release from Hopkins County Sheriff’s Deputy Mark Gentry says 28-year old Kimberly Wilson of Desert Storm Avenue was northbound on the Pennyrile Parkway around 9:30 and drove into the median.
Ms. Wilson’s vehicle overturned and crossed the southbound lanes on its roof, before finally coming to rest against a guard rail. She was taken by ambulance to Regional Medical Center, where she was treated for a neck injury.
Wilson is charged with DUI and will appear in court after being released from the hospital.
