Another one of the men accused of robbing A.C. Automotive and shooting at an Oak Grove Police Officer on January 30th has been extradited back to Hopkinsville.
After being arrested in Texas last week, 26-year old Christopher Jerome Walker of Clarksville was extradited to the Christian County Jail and arrived around 11:40pm Friday night.
Oak Grove Officer Michael Havens was the man who was shot at and he writes on the warrant that as he was arresting 23-year old Joseph Marshall Brown of Hopkinsville on January 30th along I-24 eastbound, one of the other three suspects fired multiple shots.
The initial incident on E. 9th St. in Hopkinsville led to police being on the lookout for a red four door sedan and three black males armed with hand guns. Officer Havens spotted a vehicle matching that description and initiated the traffic stop.
Only 23-year old Justin Horstead remains at large in connection with the incident, after 24-year old Henry Brown of Richard St. and Walker have been jailed in the weeks following the incident.
Walker is charged with wanton endangerment, fleeing from police, 1st degree assault of a police officer and 1st degree robbery.
Anyone knowing Horstead’s whereabouts is asked to call the Hopkinsville-Christian County Crime Stoppers hotline at 887-TIPS.
