Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews were busy this morning responding to numerous reports of minor damage from a series of severe thunderstorms that rolled into western Kentucky.
According to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Spokesman Keith Todd, most reports were about debris on roadways.
Spokesman Todd says Henderson County reported having some minor damage along the Ohio River around the Ellis Park area and a gazebo was blown onto the lanes of US 41/South Main Street in Madisonville
Keith Todd also stated crews also responded to scattered reports of power outages that may have cut off electrical power to traffic signals and he wanted to remind motorists that a traffic signal in flashing mode should be treated as a 4-way stop.
Meanwhile, motorists are encouraged to use caution through the day and slow down and be alert for debris on area roadways.
