A rear-end collision on East 9th Street Friday evening injured three people.
The Hopkinsville Police report from Officer Chris Madley says 36-year old Lucy Moore of Hopkinsville was parked on the side of East 9th facing westbound around 5:30, when a vehicle driven by 65-year old Paul Turner of Hopkinsville struck her in the rear.
The collision pushed Ms. Moore's SUV approximately 30 feet forward onto the sidewalk. Both drivers were not hurt, but three of Ms. Moore's passengers complained of mostly neck and shoulder pain.
Taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center were 23-year old Decora Cotton and 23-year old Christopher Leavell of Hopkinsville. Twenty-year old Tyrone Miller complained of pain, but refused a trip to the hospital.
