Another winter weather system brought a coating of snow to the region overnight, though very few problems were reported early this morning.
A Hopkinsville-Christian County Emergency Communications Center dispatcher said they hadn’t received any reports of weather-related accidents at last check, though that’s also at least partly a product of very little traffic being out on a Saturday morning.
A dispatcher in Todd County said police have reported the roads being snow-covered and slick, but there have been no accidents. There were also no weather-related wrecks in Trigg County.
About a half-inch to an inch of snow fell across the area, with some locations seeing a little more. The National Weather Service is calling for a slight chance of snow Sunday night and Wednesday, but neither system is expected to be a huge deal at this point.
