The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a head-on collision involving two vehicles that occurred near the intersection of JB Copeland Road over the weekend where three people were injured and transported to Western Baptist Hospital for treatment.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were dispatched to the area of Symsonia Highway, near the intersection of JB Copeland Road in reference to a two-vehicle wreck.
Deputies on the scene report that 36-year old Dawn Toth of Dexter, Kentucky was driving in the eastbound lane on KY 348 when according to witnesses, Toth crossed the center line and traveled partially in the oncoming lane.
Deputies also say 29-year old William Walker of Symsonia was driving in the westbound lane and encountered Toth driving in their lane and was unable to avoid the wreck.
Walker and his passenger, 29-year old Tara Walker of Symsonia, along with Toth were transported by ambulance to Western Baptist Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
