A Trigg County couple was arrested Thursday after a search warrant of their residence allegedly turned up drugs, guns and explosives.
Trigg County Sheriff Ray Burnam says Deputy Rick Burgess and Constable George Colbert went to the southern Trigg County home of 52-year old Alan Block and 52-year old Elaine Block to serve an emergency protective order.
When police arrived at the residence, they noticed a strong smell of marijuana. A search of the home turned up alleged marijuana, drug paraphernalia, guns, ammunition, military explosives and road signs.
Fort Campbell's Explosive Ordinance Division was called in to assist with the handling of the explosives.
Alan Block was charged with trafficking in marijuana, cultivating marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of explosives and receiving stolen property.
Kathern Block was charged with trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
