Ninth District State Representative Myron Dossett has filed his papers to seek a fifth term in the General Assembly.
The Pembroke Republican says it's been an honor to serve since 2007 and he's asking voters for another two year term.
Legislative re-redistricting has put a chunk of Hopkins County in the Ninth District and Representative Dossett says those residents can expect to meet him in the coming months.
Current 10th District Representative Ben Waide lives within Dossett's new boundaries and they could face off in a Republican primary, though Waide hasn't announced his intentions yet. Earlington Mayor Mike Seiber has already filed to run for the seat as a Democrat.
