Marcus Brown Hollowell
Two Hopkinsville men were arrested on robbery charges last night after the victim showed up at the Hopkinsville Police Department bleeding and looking for help.
The Hopkinsville Police report says 45-year old Curtis McGee of Cadiz showed up at HPD around 9:20 with a severe laceration and other injuries, saying he had been assaulted and robbed at 111 North Elm Street.
Officers went to the address and made contact with 22-year old Marcus Brown and 34-year old Charles Hollowell of Hopkinsville, who both had blood on their clothing. Both men allegedly tried to leave the back of the home when police arrived, but were apprehended. A third man at the residence, 24-year old Stephen Brown of Hopkinsville, was cited into court for possession of cocaine.
Marcus Brown was served with an arrest warrant for previous charges and was taken back to the police department with Hollowell for questioning regarding the robbery.
Both men were eventually arrested and charged with first degree robbery and are lodged in the Christian County Jail.
