Judge Tyler Gill
Two area judges and western Kentucky's State Supreme Court Justice have filed for re-election.
Seventh Circuit Judge Tyler Gill of Allensville and 56th Circuit Judge C.A. “Woody” Woodall of Cadiz have filed for another term, according to the Secretary of State website.
Judge Gill serves in Todd and Logan counties and Judge Woodall serves Trigg, Caldwell Lyon and Livingston counties.
Meanwhile, First District State Supreme Court Justice Bill Cunningham of Lyon County has made his candidacy official by filing for another term. Chief Justice John Minton of Bowling Green will also seek another term on the state's highest court.
All of these races are non-partisan, meaning there will only be a primary if more than three candidates file for one seat. The top two vote-getters in the primary face off in the general election in that case.
