The Christian County Public School District is hosting a free seminar designed to educate parents and students about the dangers of prescription drug abuse.
School District Spokesperson Heather Lancaster says the educational seminar is free and will take place this Monday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Oak Grove Community Center located at 1705 Thompsonville Lane.
Mrs. Lancaster says the educational session will feature many guest speakers including a Western Kentucky University student, who almost lost her life due to synthetic drugs.
Mrs. Lancaster says the purpose of the seminar is to raise awareness and educate parents and students about the dangers of synthetic drug use.
