Flags at all state office buildings in Kentucky will be lowered to half-staff tomorrow in honor of a Fort Campbell soldier who died while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
According to the Department of Defense, 31-year old Staff Sergeant Thomas A. Baysore, of Pennsylvania died September 26th in Afghanistan, from wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with small arms fire during combat operations.
He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team.
Funeral services for Staff Sgt. Baysore will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C. with Governor Beshear encouraging individuals, businesses, organizations and government agencies to join in this tribute.
