The Hopkinsville man seriously injured in a wreck in Lyon County early Sunday morning remains in Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A hospital spokesperson says 34-year old Thomas Skinner of Hopkinsville is in critical, but stable condition. Skinner was the driver of a pickup on KY 274 just after midnight Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle and ran off the road.
The truck went down a steep embankment and came to rest against a tree. A passenger, eight-year old Maela Skinner of Hopkinsville, was able to climb out and wave down a passing car for help. The juvenile was treated and released from Baptist Health in Paducah for her injuries.
Thomas Skinner was cut from the wreckage and flown to Vanderbilt.
