The boyfriend of the woman found shot to death at a Western Hills Mobile Home Village residence Saturday morning has been charged with murder.
The arrest citation says 49-year old Dennis Earl Sills of Hopkinsville allegedly told multiple witnesses he had shot 38-year old Lisa Roach of Hopkinsville to death with a rifle. Hopkinsville Police say they found a 22 caliber rifle and two spent shell casings inside the mobile home at 2019 Sheena Avenue.
The initial call came out just after midnight and Ms. Roach was dead when police arrived, according to Sgt. Chris Aldridge, who said HPD interviewed at least three witnesses, the suspect and executed a search warrant on the trailer before the arrest was made just after 5 a.m.
Sills remains in the Christian County Jail on $100,000 bond.
