The Trigg County Public School System showed improvements in its K-PREP testing results released last week.
As a district, Trigg Schools improved from the 68th to the 82nd percentile statewide last year and went from a classification of “needs improvement” to “proficient.”
Trigg County High School showed a similar improvement, transitioning into the “proficient” category by improving from the 68th to the 85th percentile.
Trigg County Middle made a small improvement, ticking up from the 58th to the 60th percentile in the state, while also remaining in the “needs improvement” classification. It remains on the state's “focus school” list.
The intermediate school remained steady in the 71st percentile, good enough to be classified “proficient.”
