Kentucky State Police have identified the person killed when a house exploded in Calloway County Saturday night.
An updated news release says 72-year old Kenneth Story of Murray was killed when the home exploded on Cook Store Trail near the Coldwater community. Fifty-four year old Marty Story of Murray, 41-year old Melissa Mcleod of Hazel, 60-year old Ira Greer of Almo, and 70-year old Barbara Parker of Murray were all injured and remain in stable condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
KSP says the investigation, thus far, has centered on a liquid propane wall heater and potential LP gas leak as the cause of the explosion and resulting fire. The home was a total loss.
