The driver of a mini-van that ran into the side of the Christian County Sheriff's Department Tuesday morning is in critical condition.
As previously reported, 64-year old William Rush of Hopkinsville was northbound on Bethel Street just after 11 a.m. when he ran off the street and into the side of the sheriff's office on Riverfront Drive.
Rush was unresponsive when police arrived and he was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center. He was later transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he is listed in critical condition. Hopkinsville Police say a medical condition may have led to the incident.
