The Christian County Sheriff's Office has arrested one of the two suspects believed to be connected to the shooting death of a Hopkinsville man early Saturday morning.
As previously reported, 20-year old Antwain Poindexter of Hopkinsville died Saturday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center after being shot in the head outside of the Woodland Heights apartment complex around 3:30 a.m.
The suspects were been identified as 23-year old Quimon Taylor, also known as Keymon Watkins, and 21-year old William McAllister of Hopkinsville. Captain Chris Miller says McAllister turned himself in at the Christian County Sheriff’s Office and Taylor is still sought.
Taylor is a black male, standing 5-10 and weighing about 155 pounds.
Both men face charges of murder and robbery and McAllister is also charged with attempted assault.
Captian Chris Miller says anyone knowing Taylor’s whereabouts can call police or contact the anonymous tips line at 887-TIPS. He says it didn't take long for investigators to name the two men as suspects.
Anyone providing information that leads to the arrest of Taylor could be eligible for a cash reward.
