The Christian County School Board will meet in special session Tuesday evening and will take another look at its Facility Plan.
Board members have discussed closing and combining schools and other options over the last several months, but this school year opened with the same buildings and basic structure in place as last year.
Options listed on the agenda include a new elementary school to combine Holiday and Indian Hills and possible conversion of North Drive Middle School into an elementary school that would bundle Belmont and Lacy.
There is also an option for an addition to Pembroke Elementary School, which could include a pre-school and sixth grade. The board could also discuss other options regarding where sixth graders in Christian County attend school.
Under an item termed “Common Sense Adjustments,” board members will discuss adjustments to current school attendance zones.
The special-called meeting is set for 6 p.m. at the district office on Glass Avenue.
