A parent company of a local industry recently received national recognition in a magazine.
Wabash National Corporation, the parent company of Transcraft in Cadiz was recently named a 50 Best U.S. Manufacturer by IndustryWeek Magazine in last month’s issue.
President and Chief Executive Officer, Dick Giromini stated this national recognition reflects the dedication and talent of Wabash National's nearly 6,000 associates worldwide and confirms the company's efforts to strategically grow and diversify the business in recent years.
In order to receive the distinction, an industry was chosen based on financial performance in six key areas from 2010 to 2012 which included: inventory turns, profit margin, asset turns and revenue growth.
This is the second time Wabash National has been featured in the magazine.
Wabash National Corporation is headquartered in Lafayette, Indiana and was established in 1985 and specializes in the design and production of dry freight vans, refrigerated vans, and platform trailers just to name a few product lines.
