The Christian County Board of Education tonight received a report concerning the results of an exam taken by students in Kindergarten through 11th grade this past Spring, which showed the need for improvement in Math and Reading.
Chief Instructional Officer Amy Wilcox talks about the Measures of Academic Progress,otherwise known as the MAP test.
The board also approved action to move forward in purchasing property located at Glass Avenue and Elm Street with Board Chairman Barry Cornelius offering more details about the purchase.
In other business, board members approved the appointment of Sarah Shepard to serve a two-year term as a legislative contact.
The board then went into closed session to discuss proposed or pending litigation and took no action.
