A traffic stop on Liberty Street Tuesday night led to the arrest of a Princeton man on multiple charges.
Officers Robert Sibal and Jamie Gapp noticed 25-year old Jeremy Colwell of Princeton traveling on East 7th Street just after 10 with no headlights on and without a hood covering the engine.
Officer Sibal turned on his blue lights and Colwell allegedly turned the wrong way onto Liberty. He finally stopped in a parking lot and the citation says Colwell failed a sobriety test. A K9 unit was called and police say they found prescription pills in the vehicle.
Colwell was arrested and charged with his second DUI in the last five years, careless driving, wanton endangerment, disorderly conduct, possession of a controlled substance and driving with improper equipment. Some of the charges came after he allegedly acted disruptive at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center emergency room.
