June 29th - Green River Academy Donor Dinner at the Green River Academy on Goeble Ave in Elkton. Band will be Rocky and the Tennessee Volunteers.

Moonlight Canoe Trips….May 24^th, June 21^st & 22^nd or July 21^st. Use the almost full moon to guide us over the water to see what creatures are using the lake. Trips will last about 2 hours on the water. Bring water, bug spray and flashlight. Fee: $20/canoe. Participants must be 10+ years old. Must register 1 week before the canoe trip. Six canoes are available.

Run Through the Forest 5K Race….September 21^st at 7:30am. Run through the Forest is a 5K paved road race through the Pennyrile State Forest & State Resort. This is the second leg of the Kentucky State Parks Western Region Race Series. If running is not your thing, then join in our 5K “Get Fit “Fun Walk! All ages and skill levels welcome!!

Photography Weekend….October 18^th – 20^th. They strive to not only put on a good contest, but also to present information that will help participants become better photographers. Photographs may be taken anywhere within the state park and forest. Bring your own camera. Registration: $35. Register at least one week before the event and get a $5 discount. Children 16 and under pay just $10.

Halloween Campout….October 15^th – 27^th. A full schedule of Halloween activities will be available..Scary storytelling, Halloween crafts, trick-or-treating, and contests for best Jack-o-lantern, campsite decorating, and costumes, plus more.

Santa Visit the Park…December 7^th..5pm-7pm. When Santa visits our park he spreads holiday cheer everywhere. Come enjoy the festivities. FREE pictures with Santa in the Lodge Lobby!

New Years Eve Celebration…December 31^st – January 1^st. Come relax by the fire in our beautiful fireside room while you enjoy watching the New Year’s eve festivities on our big screen TV. The $100 package includes: 1-night in lodge room, 2 buffet dinners and 2 Deluxe continental breakfasts. Buy a second night with your News Year’s Eve package for half price.

Join your friends for a party on the patio at Fieldstone Place each Friday evening from 6pm – 8pm. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and even pack a picnic basket and enjoy a musical evening under the stars. Fabulous Fridays are free and open to the public. Concessions will be available for purchase. May 17^th karaoke with Kings Entertainment; May 24^th the Cumber Winds Big Band Swing will be back and then June 7^th. Its Fabulous Fridays hosted by Fieldstone Place and Walking Horse Meadows…at 51 Patel Way in Clarksville.

 Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville, KY will conduct the 20^th Annual Benefit Golf Scramble on Friday, May 24, 2013 beginning at 12:00 noon at Western Hills Golf Course in Hopkinsville. Lunch and practice will begin at 11:00 a.m. to be followed by a shotgun start. The cost to enter is $240.00 per team of four. This covers the entry fee, greens fee, cart rental fee, lunch, practice balls, plus one mulligan per player. Prizes will be awarded for first, fifth, and tenth place teams as well as for longest drive or closest to the pin on several holes. Many participation prizes will be awarded as well. Entries will be limited to the first 25 teams. Proceeds benefit the Patient/Volunteer Fund at the facility.
