Feel the spirit of the season centered around the wonder of trains on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 4pm-6pm in downtown Hopkinsville. Historic East 9th Street will be transformed into a winter wonderland with train station stops that feature free activities sponsored by local businesses. Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus at the L&N Depot as they read the book The Polar Express. Enjoy carriage rides, mini train rides, craft stations, hot chocolate, refreshments, and more!

December 14th it’s the 2013 Hopkinsville Christmas Paradewill be held at 10:00 AM. The Christmas Parade route will start at Glass Avenue and North Main Street. The parade will continue down Main Street of Hopkinsville, KY. The theme for this years' Christmas Parade is "Peace on Earth
The Pennyroyal Arts Council brings back FILM to the Historic Alhambra Theatre. For 2 days in December they will offer the Christmas favorite, It’s a Wonderful Life. Show times are Saturday, December 21st at 2pm and 6pm and Sunday, December 22nd at 2pm. Box office will open 1 hour prior to each performance. There are no reserved seats. Tickets are $5.00 each. Popcorn and drinks will be offered for $1 each.
Lunch & Learn: Thursday, December 12th it’s the Lunch & Learn program focusing on a Healthy Workforce. Meeting is at 12noon at the Renaissance Center, sponsored by JSMC.
